also, my uncle tom's cabin paper was accepted to a conference in louisiana(!), which will be in march/april of 2011. i'm kind of sort of 100% totally excited. conferences are a big deal in grad school world.
i've been MIA lately spending time with mi familia. philip leaves tomorrow (i'm sad) and samuel is born on tuesday. big things are happening.
